I really LOVED Avatar, mostly for the artistic aspects of its creation. I will say that District 9 surpasses Avatar as a finer film because it maintains the connection to "reality" through its filming techniques, perfect special effects and story. I found it exceptional--a film that didn't pander to the viewer by avoiding the over-use of cliched--how can I say it...emotion. I loved the dichotomy of sympathy and disgust one feels for these characters in the film.

On second thought, wouldn't bother with Lovely Bones-- terribly cliched and even the visuals aren't anything special..I suppose I am with the majority of people who were expecting more from Mr. Jackson.

Also: Have you seen The Lovely Bones yet? This one makes an explicit visualization of the Astral Plane, and being that is a reoccurring concept in your reviews I would be mighty curious to see your reaction to the movie.

I really wanted to see this, absolutely making it a priority now. Thank you for this wonderful review and beautiful insight into politics, the New World Order is a terrifying place to be indeed, and I am glad it is being addressed in the collective unconscious. Anything to help jar people into waking up and climbing out of the comfort of the modern day home -- the dark electric cave which drowns in the sea of over-saturation.

Odd enough, that biomechanical exoskeleton you mention is now a working prototype to help military men use their super powers of super strength, just like Sci Fi ma! : 200 pound pull down 500 times in a row? no problem! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ4J69EEpu4

But will it solve our real issues?

I will be sending a thoughts on your book soon! Still mulling it over. :)
